Digifest Bikaner

Started in 2016 with the vision to support and strengthen the technological ecosystem in the state, Rajasthan DigFest has now established itself as India’s largest technology and startup festival, attracting a footfall of more than 1 Lac from all across the globe. Continuing with its commitment to further boost the technology paradigm in the state, Department of Information Technology & Communications, Government of Rajasthan is back with the fifth edition of Rajasthan DigiFest from 25th to 27th, July 2018 in the historic city of Bikaner.

Rajasthan DigiFest Bikaner will host five events under the fest that will cater to all sections of the society. Similar to previous editions, this year also the fest will witness Hackathon wherein the coding community of the country will get a chance to showcase their ingenious hacks on a global platform. Along with this, TecRush will be organised to combine sports and fun activities. Startup Fest will prove to be a great destination for emerging entrepreneurs and aspiring students to interact and learn from the best minds in the business. IT-Expo will commemorate cutting-edge IT solutions launched by the state government and will inform the general public on how IT is enhancing quality of life in the state. Job Fair will be the highlight of the event, where state’s youth will get a chance to start their career in the best organisations of our country.

Online Hackathon 2018

Participate in the first-ever Code-From-Home Online Hackathon by Government of Rajasthan and win Great Prizes, Direct Entry to All Expense Paid Rajasthan Hackathon 5.0  in Bikaner and a chance to launch your own startup

If you are a coder, developer, designer, or someone who enjoys hacking for good, then the 36-hour-long Code-From-Home online Hackathon organised by the state government of Rajasthan is right up your alley.

The online Hackathon opens at 6 PM on July 6 and ends at 6 AM on July 8, 2018. Of the overall 36 hours, the teams have to code for 15 hours, whenever comfortable for them. It is open to participants from anywhere in the world. The organisers are looking for ingenious ideas on any of these 12 themes – Bhamashah, e-Mitra, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, AR/VR, Blockchain, Machine Learning, Data Warehouse, Tourism, Bioinformatics, Big Data and Data Mobility.

Win work contracts up to Rs 15 lakh and a chance to incubate your idea into a startup

The first-ever Code-From-Home online Hackathon by Government of Rajasthan is being organised as part of Challenge for Change – a flagship contest by Rajasthan’s Department of Information Technology and Communications. The contest gives startups, professionals and students the opportunity to partner with the state government to enhance the effectiveness of e-governance initiatives through technology. Youth participating will not just be winning great prizes like iPads, Tablets, Laptops, Mobiles and many more, but shall also get a direct entry to Rajasthan Hackathon 5.0 – that too all-expense paid – which shall be organized in Bikaner on 26-27 July 2018. This means that the winners of the online hackathon will also get a chance to partner with the government, without having to follow the traditional tendering process. 

The winners also stand a chance to get support from the government to incubate their ideas and launch their startup. Additionally, the winners will also have a chance to receive amazing prizes such as iPhones, tablets, laptops, mobile phones, speakers and others.

Digifest Udaipur

DoIT&C, Government of Rajasthan organized the 2nd edition of Digifest in the city of Lakes, Udaipur. This 2-day Carnival of technology witnessed an incredible participation from startup and technology enthusiasts from across the state. At the IT festival there were various startups which displayed their ongoing work, business model and how they plan to disrupt the market with their ideas. The Government of Rajasthan organized various contests as part of Hackathon 3.0, expert sessions and showcasing of various eGovernance schemes, all in one go, and huge amount as prize money was distributed across event during the Digifest.

Digifest Kota

DoIT&C, Government of Rajasthan organized the 1st edition of Digifest at the education hub of the state, Kota. This 2-day Carnival of technology saw an incredible participation from startup and technology enthusiasts from across the state. The Government of Rajasthan has organized various competitions, workshops, sessions and IT Job Fair etc. all in one go. During the event Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje inaugurated iStart Rajasthan Stack DIGISTAN of India and Challenge for Change, among other new initiatives.

Rajasthan IT Day 2017

Government of Rajasthan organised and celebrated its 2nd edition of Rajasthan IT Day 2017 in the Pink City Jaipur from 20-21 March on the theme, “Promote & Serve Rajasthan Digitally”. This two-day Carnival of technology witnessed an incredible participation from startups, technology enthusiasts and students from around the country. Individuals and teams from across the country competed for opportunity to incubate their winning ideas and the potential to bring it up. The Government of Rajasthan organized various competitions, workshops, sessions and IT Job Fair during the event. The event was honored by the presence of dignitaries of Government of India and Government of Rajasthan; officers of Government of Rajasthan, specifically Department of Industries, BIP, Finance Department, Department of Information Technology & Communication; IT industrialists and members of Rajasthan Venture Capital fund.
