Forest Stack Innovation Challenge is an initiative by Rajasthan Forest Department (RFD) and iSTART in collaboration with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and hosted by iSTART to unlock innovation in the forestry and climate change space.
Forest Stack is a pioneering digital stack with data exchange at its core, designed to make forestry-related data from multiple sources interoperable and available to a wide set of stakeholders—including open datasets, forest department records, and state government databases. By providing structured access to this information, Forest Stack enables innovators to build data-driven solutions that enhance forest management, conservation, and sustainable resource utilization.
This challenge invites private partners including startups, researchers, students and technology experts to harness this stack and develop scalable, impactful solutions that address key forestry management & conservation challenges while also creating new business opportunities.
