Solution to handle end to end logistics for SHGs

Background: SHGs & their Federations generally procure raw materials individually from their suppliers. They purchase raw materials in smaller quantities and are not able to avail discounts and credit facilities. Even if they want to procure raw materials in bulk quantities, there is no systematic arrangement to collect and preserve them. Due to lack of sufficient funds a large number of SHGs use law quality raw material and cater to the low-income groups of customers. Due to lack of proper distribution channel, maximum number of SHGs choose fairs & exhibitions to sell their products which results in selling the products below the cost of the product.

Expectation: Linkage of SHGs with major Raw material suppliers and marketing agencies and to provide them a permanent market to sell their products.

Development of solution related to SHG and including features like :-

  • Platform to connect with trainers of production related trainers
  • Solution for capacity building, credit and marketing support
  • Integrating of raw material needs of SHG’s and connecting with material suppliers
  • Creating a marketplace/platform to sell or exhibit products of SHG
  • Schemes and opportunities available for this segment and establishing linkage
