Sufficient cold chains are not present due to which a lot of agricultural produce is perished in transit incurring lot of loss to farmers. Mostly the middlemen are involved which further aggravates the situation. Low shelf life & perishable nature of produce coupled with large distances to market brings a lot of loss to farmers. Solutions are invited in form of Setup technology enabled (RFID powered) cold chains so that we can track the produce life and thereby significantly improve go to market value. Godowns that can be located at key areas to help ease the logistic loads. A storage location guide App or SMS utility can be used to assist the farmers.
