Conversion of Barren Land to Productive Land

Rajasthan India's largest state by area (342,239 square kilometres (132,139 sq mi) or 10.4% of India's total area), 25% of its geographical area being wasteland. Being largest state in India; 1000/100000 of hectares land in Rajasthan are barren due to lack of water or maybe other factors. These barren land are not in use. There is an emerging concern on effective use of these lands in Rajasthan. If we succeed in developing crop varieties, cultivation/plantation/ vegetation/ industrialization etc. then the large area can be made useable. Can help in increasing greenery / industrialization / employment. Innovative solutions are invited from interested parties, may be Consultant / Industrialist / Villagers on as it is basis (considering no facility like road, electricity and water is available in that area), e.g. Solar Farms, Defence Training facilities or Astronomy Observatories can be installed.
